A doll of shedding, fire, and rebirth
A custom spirit doll, birthed on the winter solstice, deep in the cave of the Bear, surrounded by the wise crones who plant the seeds of spring deep in the winter earth.
This spirit doll is full of fire and shedding energy. She is connected to Brigid, to the Spring, to maiden energy - and also to An Cailleach, to the wise grandmothers, and the deep, dark winter days.
She carries the wisdom of the dark days of Winter and the promise of Spring’s rebirth.
She is a healer, full of strength.
In her belly she carries Mugwort, Hawthorn, Yarrow, and Nettle. Medicine for deep healing, for connecting to the Otherworld, for connecting to the Ancestors. Medicine for shedding that which no longer serves and making space for the magic that is ready to come through us.
She wears her companion the Snake with a double-terminated quartz crystal eye on her dress and remembers the importance of shedding - as well as how to transform and learn to move in new ways.
She is a protector and a wise woman. She carries the spark of fire, the emotional attunement of water, and the rootedness of earth. She carries the whisper of Spirit and the Ancestors.
May she serve as a touchstone and a companion for her keeper.
