Honoring new beginnings.

This beautiful selection of herb and bone will go into a very special Edgewalker doll that I’m creating. My intention is to create this doll as an offering to Spirit and the Ancestors as I begin a new journey to train as a death worker and grief guide.

For the heart…

I’ve chosen mugwort, hawthorn, yarrow, usnea, motherwort, and salmon bone for the heart of this doll - medicine for thresholds, journeying in liminal spaces, protection, healing, spirit connection, and nervous system tending.

The offering, the weaving, the magic spell…

I’ll share more of the process here as I create this special spirit doll. May her creation guide me in the coming days and weeks as I prepare to begin my journey. When she’s complete, I’ll offer her as a raffle to support me as I step onto this new path that the ancestors have long called me to - a calling that I’m finally ready to answer. May she be a blessing to Spirit and the Ancestors.
