Grief Doll
{Mugwort, Rose, & Moonstone}
This doll is a companion for your grief. She welcomes your tears, your heartbreak, and your rage.
She has a heart of mugwort, rose, and moonstone - chosen for ancestral connection, dreaming, protection, compassion, heart healing, and emotional balance.
Her tears are woven with tussah silk and her dress is woven of Corriedale wool. She wears a small, double terminated quartz over her heart - and if you look closely, you’ll see the tiny baby (or, “barnacle”) quartz point on the side.
May this spirit doll be a source of comfort. May she help you release your tears and open to your grief. May she help you find the joy and beauty hidden in the depths.
A note about my offerings:
All of my dolls and talismans are one-of-a-kind, crafted by hand using museling-free wool, organic, sustainably harvested and/or foraged herbs, and found and/or ethically obtained animal materials.
The creation of each doll and talisman is Spirit-led, guided by the Ancestors and my own intuition.
I believe that crafting sacred tools should feel nourishing - never rushed - and this is reflected in the slow, cyclical rhythm of my creative practice.
