Snake Talisman V
I began this set of snake talismans under the February 2025 full moon in Leo and completed them on the new moon in Pisces.
Each holds organic mugwort and naturally shed snakeskin, medicine for protection, dreaming, connecting to Spirit, and shedding that which no longer serves.
Snakes have so much to teach us. On first glance, they may seem frightening (and rightfully so when it comes to venomous snakes); yet they are also wise, protective creatures. Snakes remind us that growth is uncomfortable - but necessary. They tell us to trust our intuition - to listen to the call when it’s time to shed our old skin.
Shedding our old stories often feels scary, and snake energy can help us bravely step through our growth portals. They teach us new ways of moving through difficult circumstances - and remind us to trust our instinct to protect ourselves when threatened. They can also help us hold our sacred rage, as they do in the story of Medusa.
