The Call:
For the past several years, I have felt stirrings and a call to death and grief work. I sat in the unknown with that tiny seed, until the path became clear. I believe that we need death workers now, more than ever, particularly as we witness the death of empires in real time. Last month, I began my journey with the Nine Keys School of Death Arts.
The ask:
I’m seeking community support for this journey, and I’ve created this doll as an offering.

The offering, the weaving, the magic spell…
🗝️ I created this doll to honor my death work, the Great Mother, and the ancestors who guide me. She holds the medicine of the Edgewalker - the one who walks between the worlds. She is a psychopomp, her spirit connected to Hekate and Mercury. You might glimpse her fluttering at the edges of your vision as you walk down a forest path. She is a guide, meeting you in dreams and walking alongside you as you journey into the dark.
🖤 The Edgewalker has a heart of mugwort, hawthorn, yarrow, usnea, motherwort, and salmon bone - medicine for threshold walkers and those who journey in liminal spaces, for protection, healing, spirit connection, and nervous system tending.
🌬️ Like all of my dolls, she was birthed in sacred space and needle felted by hand, over many hours, with love and intention. She is valued at $350.
🕯️ My hope and intention is to raise money to support my death work journey and to cover a portion of the investment into my apprenticeship with the Nine Keys School of Death Arts (valued at $3,500)

The details:
Tickets are $10 each and can purchased via PayPal or Venmo (@gmlangan). Use an emoji or type “edgewalker” in the notes.
Multiple tickets can be purchased in increments of $10 (e.g. $20 for 2 tickets, $30 for 3, and so on)
International entries accepted
I will cover shipping costs (domestic or international) Winner is responsible for customs fees.
The raffle will run from 4/10 until the new moon on 4/17

Momento Mori | She wears a howlite skull bead in her hair, a reminder that life births death and death births life.
Her hair is adorned with bells and tied with hand-spun, hand-dyed nettle thread. She wears a spiral necklace, a reminder of the cyclical nature of life.
She carries a witch’s ladder with bells and a key, honoring her connection to the Great Mysteries. Each knot is a spell for protection.
